He is a Professor at Yonsei University College of Dentistry, in Seoul, South Korea, where he has been shaping future dental professionals and researchers since 1996. His influence extends beyond academia through his roles as Chairman of the Korea Association of Anatomist (KAA) since 2023, President of the Korea Oral Anatomy Association (KAOA) since 2022, and Editor in Chief of Anatomy and Cell Biology (ACB) since 2016. Since 2009, he has served as Associate Editor (Head and Neck) for Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy (SRA), contributing significantly to the field's body of knowledge.
